"Going into the coaching I didn’t have much expectation of what results I may get. I also did not really know what I wanted from it, so I guess I undervalued it. On reflection and on completion of the coaching, I realise I am much more self-aware, self-critical, and self-reflective. I have gone through a journey of analysing how I approach things, how I lead and how I manage. There are so many positives to take from my professional coaching and I have found some real golden nuggets of information.

 

Firstly, I have seen a huge impact through my one to ones, with asking the simple questions “are they effective”, “and who benefits”. I have now found a formula that really works, not just for me, but for my team; they have also adapted the same approach, and I have had phenomenal feedback and instant impact.

 

Secondly, I now feel more aware of how to plan my diary most effectively and have taken away some great teachings on how to focus on the task at hand, not allowing distractions to eat up time unnecessarily. This has allowed me to be more efficient during working hours and gain back some important family time during the evenings. 

 

I am excited about the new possibilities that are presenting themselves with the implementation of my new practices. This change in structure has delivered results far beyond my expectations so far- I am keen to continue further to obtain a bigger picture of potential impact.
